would you buy from this place?

and pay top $$$$$???just wondering, honest answers...about 80% of the plants needed TLC and greening up. Also weeds were in over grown in the pots.

if they have what I want and the price is right yes. I wouldn't even look at the ones with the weeds though.

Shows a lack of responsibility. Stay away from them.

Gee.. You would never guess by their glossy plant/guide catalog... I've never had luck with them on orders ..everything was on backorder and after a few moons passed just gave up ..

tiG--In TX there aren't any weeds--everything is a "wild" something--flower,grass....the list goes on. I guess "weeds" from Lynn Haven FL needs a name change? Does anybody else have that kind of guidelines for "weeds" in their state?

Lisa, I can hardly believe that is Stokes! I just received four orders from them (bougainvilleas, bananas, plantains, and hibiscus -- all fine and healthy, fortunately). From looking at their Web site (never been to the nursery itself), you would think it would be a gorgeous place. Never can tell, huh?

Many mail order nurseries seem great online or in the catalog till you visit the nursery..then...OH MY!!! its kinda like that! LOL
