Approximately 4 to 6 years. I've had it maybe 4. Bought in a 1 gallon container.

My grandma has three of these. She just put them in this year, so they're young, but I wonder if I could take cuttings for myself???

If you know how to do it, I'd say sure. Mine grows like a weed. I've never tried much with cuttings so I couldn't give any good advice on that.

The only thing I've ever rooted from a cutting was..well, it's been so long that I can't remember what it was! I'm pretty sure it was a quick growing tree though.
