do you know what kind of datura this is?

Orlando, FL(Zone 9b)

A friend of mine is looking for a special kind of bush datura. Do you know the name?

Here is her description:
Perenial bush in OK
3-4 feet high and 3-4 wide
flowers that open at night and close by noon
blooms are very fragrant

I know very little about daturas so I thought I would ask the experts

thanks,

Gee, sorry, I do not know enough about them to offer my guess! I am sure Tonny will be by soon, he is the resident datura expert!

Kell, that is all too much *lol* I am still learning :)

Polarbear_77, if it is a perennial Datura it could be D. inoxia or D. wrightii. The rest of the Daturas are more or less thought of as annuals :) D. inoxia has white flowers and a spicy, sweet fragrance and D. wrightii has white flowers usually with a purple edge, but the fragrance is more fruit-like (sweet citrus-like).

Here is D. inoxia ...
