I ran over my little lime tree with the garden hose. :(
Now one of the limbs with all the little limes on it is hanging half off.
What can I do? I tried putting it back together with strong packing tape, but it didn’t stick. :(
Is there anyway I can save it?
I hope someone knows a quick answer.
Thanks for any of your help.

I broke a limb half way off of my lime tree by accident....
I just don't know anything about lime trees, but have you tried your County Agricultural Agent? I'm sure that he (or she) could give you some sort of advice. Seems like you should paint it with some kind of healing agent....have you tried duck tape?
How about asking a nursery that sells plants and gardening supplies.
Hope some of our member friends can come up with something to help!!
Thanks for your help. :) That's funny you said, duck tape. We thought of that but, said nawww that can't work. I think we'll go try it until I can find out the correct way of fixing it.
It seems to work on other thing, like once I duck taped my side mirror on after the basket ball goal fell on it. It took two weeks to reorder another and the duck tape worked pretty good. ha ha..
Thanks again,

Try that self sticking wrap they sometime use for peple,we have some for the animals, its kinda like an ace bandage,3-4 inches wide, straches ,and is self stick.also comes in all kinds of colors,I have green and you cant really notice it on the plants,(been using it for grafting experiments....)
Duck tape is amazing stuff.....

I have even heard that it can be used in removing warts.
Maybe try treating the break like a graft. Pack it with wet spagnum moss and seal with paper tape, it might heal or grow a new branch. Just a thought.
Did it take?
