Isn't this the cuttest thing...even the birds shop at WalMart...this is hanging in my garage.
Nothing to do with Brugs but:
they made their nest in the bag? That's too cute......lol
cute!
Hope they are cute "little" birds. So now do you have to keep the garage open?
how cute :)
awwwwwwwwwww :)
That is cute. I have a Carolina Wren nesting in a big pot of passion vine. She scared the heck out of me flying out of there the other day, but I'm glad she did or I might have drowned her babies. I have to lift some leaves to see the nest. Now I just have to remember to only water from one side.
Are those hummer eggs, Glory? What fun for you to watch them hatch and grow. What an odd place for the mother bird to pick!
That is sooooo cool!!!
can't wait till they hatch......
will they grow up to be walmart greeters?
Gloria, that is one of the cutest things that I have ever seen. Lucky you!
My little Carolina Wren babies hatched! They are sooooo tiny, like little peanuts. One of them would look up at me and he still had half an egg shell on his head. aaaaw
Aw, so cute, Gloria.
Cool....now, I have to figure out where to hang my Wally World bags so they won't fly away before the birds take them over for nesting places.
LOL, Crestedchik :)
That's really neat! We had a wren nest in our wren house. Little cuties they were when mom & dad booted them out of the nest :) They hid under the deck until they got brave enough to fly...
I left my back door open on the SUV. Had bird poop on my bags in the car! Glad the bird found it's way out of the car!
Hibiscus,
Been keeping the garage door open all day and evening....I close it when I go to bed and Ron opens it when he gets up at 5AM or so.
CC...I'm going to train then to be greeters. LOL
A new way to recycle the WalMart bags. That is so cute.
Hope the young birds will make it.
Oh, how sweet!
I read a book a couple years ago about a young girl who was pregant and hid out in Walmart and when her baby was born she got tons of stuff from Sam Walton. Don't know if it was fact or fiction, but a great book. The name of it was "Home Is Where The Heart Is".
Anyway, seeing the bird eggs in a WallyWorld bag made me think of that book. Send that photo to Walmart! You may win something. I'd hold out for stock shares. LOL
Up-date,
I looked into the bag yesterday and two of the 4 eggs have hatched...more to come.
Hope they all hatch and fly away so you can have your garage back!
Today there was just one bird and two eggs.
How exciting to watch this Gloria, but something happened to one of the babies? How sad, but you still have one baby and two eggs left?
Okay, I know that if this was my garage I probably would want it back too, but I think this is really neat. Gloria, did you send a photo to Sam Walton yet? I still think they would buy your photos for advertising purposes. It just doesn't get any better than this for Wally World.
Yeah, what a way to recycle, wally world bags as bird houses!
I went to the Walmart site but there is no where on it to post a picture.
do they have a email that you can send it to them on?Customer service?
Great idea, crestedchik! When I worked at Iams, that is where everyone would send their pictures of their pets. Do try that Glory :)
I've been checking and can't find an email address for any WalMart store.
Here's a link that has contact info on the left side:

Way to go Morph!!
