ok i sure will. i didn't know they seeded lol. i thought you divided glad i didn't put anything for that part lol.

This is a great shot of a great plant; but I think it might be another variety; it looks a lot like an Alstroemeria belonging to the Princess Group. Nurseries mislabel plants all the time, but you got a great plant; in my opinion better than A. psittacina!

Since this is a hybrid, seeds from it probably won't come true; but it can be divided in early spring or late fall.

You are so lucky to be in zone 8; I have to grow mine in a pot but it still puts on a magnificent display. Just curious, how old is your plant?

Also, maybe we should ask the editors to move this photo to a new Alstroemeria Princess Series entry?

my plant looks so good because i just got it last saturday. if i can keep it with enough moisture i think it will make it. keeping my fingers crossed and doing a rain dance and using the hose.
