I'm still looking for water hyacinth,and parrots feather....
My parrots feather has made it though 4 winters till this one......
I'm still not brave enough to jump in the pond and grab the lilies at the bottom,2 of them have no growth at all,they were in the shallower end of the small pond,no parrots feather either.the others are starting to get leaves.
Its been unusually cold,and rainy,even the lakes here are 10 to 15 degrees below what the average water temps are at this time of year.......
I thought about draining 1/2 the water out to get at the lilies(I have to divide some for trades promised),but I'm afraid with the water table being so high because of all the rain that the liner will float up from underneath.....I made that mistake before,what a mess.......
anyone got an Arctic wet suit?????
