What to plant with Gladiolas

I'll be planting glads for the first time. What are some other plants/flowers that have similar water, soil, sunlight needs and look good with glad.

What combinations do you like?

good question, i'm going to be watching for the answers here. i just planted 10 hardy gladiolus, no digging up in the fall!!! so i'll be watching too kokopelli.

Hi Deb,
I looked around and found one interesting combination. It suggested dahlias and glads infront of hollyhocks. Since I had both I just finished planting an arrangement of them. Don't know what the colors will be of any of them. Should be interesting.

I'll still be watching this thread. I've got lots more glads to plant.
