Standard Dwarf Bearded iris seedlings

Kylertown, PA(Zone 5b)

I am culling my SDB seedlings, and would love to trade with someone for some older, spidery, named tetraploid daylilies or what have you got?

I'll send the iris out for postage as a last resort. (I hate to compost these!)

Most of them are a light blue with a darker blue beard as in the picture, but I do have a yellow one with a dark brown thumbprint.

Sherry, that is gorgeous!! Did you have any daylilies in mind? I doubt that I have them, but I'd sure look! And of course, you know I always want to be in line for anything you made! :)

I don't have what you are looking for either, but would love to have one of these for my garden if you decide to compost them. I looked at your want list and I don't have any of the daylilies you are looking for either.

Hi IndaShade,

I have several different species of irises, as well as some old fashioned tall beaded to trade for your cheeky blue and thumb-printed yellow dwarves. In particular, I have some Japanese iris seedlings that are a year old and pretty much mature -- also some yellow flag/Iris pseudocorus from our botanical gardens -- Iris verna, a native light blue very dwarf (3-5”). I recently invested in some variegated Japanese irises, but I had to pay for them with gold bullion and a pound of flesh, so it would take quite a bit to separate me from one.

I have 15 or so new varieties of daylilies, but no spiders. I think a couple are tets. Because they're my new babes, I'm probably too attached to them, too, but I have enough to share a fan or two.

If, for any reason, you would like some common orange daylilies (and a couple of the yellow and mahogany variations of the same) or blue squill, I have bushels (and bushels) that are destined for the shredder and compost pile.

I don't really need anymore iris. I REALLY need to divide up the monstrous iris clumps that have taken over my island perennial bed!

I'm looking for daylilies: Peacock Maiden, American Revolution, Spiderman, Glory Days, Decatur Piecrust, Chicago Knobby. I'm sure I'll think of others later and add them here.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Well Inda, just like I thought, I don't have any of those. I have been collecting here and there though. There is a place by me called Mary's Plant Farm I think, have to find the link. Her prices are very reasonable and I plan to go someday soon. Matter of fact she mailed me her daylily list. I'll look it over. I hope you find the ones you would like. :)
