Just a little different from the English Bluebell. This one has a sumptuous head with rings and rings of delightful little flowers.
This one is just opening its first ring. I'll try and get some more photos as it develops....

I have one of these but in a very true blue color, it is done now, my sister brought me this bulb for California and the first year I potted it, then put it into the ground and to my delight it bloomed again this year but earlier.

Yes this one should be bluer - the camera has a problem with blues and purples :(
