This is such a great plant. This is the second flush of flowers within 3 weeks.I hope the picture isn't too dark. I took it just before dark.

That is a beauty! You seem to be finally getting all the blooms you missed out on last summer. Hope I do as well, needing blooms here.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Wow, very nice picture!!!

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

It's beautiful! I can't for the life of me remember what PB stands for. Please somebody give it a name.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Pink Beauty is really bloomin' for you. Is this the one I sent you? If it is, from the way it is growing, I'd say it is from the plant CC gave me. The other one I have looks totally different in its growth pattern. Could be winter....I don't know.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Yes Shirley this is the one you gave me. I'm waiting on the one that Arlene gave me to flower so I can compare the two.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

It's beautiful Snow. What kind of fragrance does it have?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

it's got the exact same growth pattern mine has.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

What kind of growth pattern are we talking about?? The blooms or the rest of the plant??

I wonder which one Logees is selling?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Brugnanny, It's hard to describe but it smells great. Not overpowering. I've got Butterfly and Whiskers blooming in the GH too so the fragrances are blended together. LOL

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

what I'm talking about is the canopy. How it Y's and then starts laying out like a cat sat in the middle of it. It was the only one I noticed growing like this last year.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks!
So I am confused again.........is this PB or Rosamond? Or was Rosamond another PB from last year???

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

This is Pink Beauty, the other one that arlene and Shirley and Cala have is Rosamond. Different sources from the time they got here.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I also have Pink Beauty, it's Y'd, we will see if it's different when it blooms. I did notice that Rosamond gets huge and PB isn't as big.
Either way, they are both beautiful flowers.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Cala if there is a noticable difference and they bloom at the same time can you take a picture of the two side by side?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I can do that. Rosamond blooms almost non stop once she gets started, so shouldn't be a problem.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Does Rosamond splay out like the PB?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I was trying to remember, I will have to take a picture! The best I can remember it is more upright. I know the PB is spreading out instead of up and grows really slow compared to Rosamond.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

By George, I think we are getting these two straight now. My Rosamond (from Barb W.) was a fast grower and more upright. Wanted to bush a lot and had lots of bottom sprouts that shot up all the time. My PB (from CC) forms a canopy and as tiG said, looks like a cat sat in it.

Whew!! This one has been driving me nuts, but we still need to do one more test with pollen. I'm going to do one this year for sure.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

but remember, I have seedlings from mine x Susies. about 15" tall.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Snow, this looks like my rosamond/pink beauty... i still call it both names, lol. it has a branch that is long and lateral, and is growing branches straight up off it. it's from a cutting i took last fall, my mama didn't come back from frost this year. well, she might have, but i gave up on her since i had the baby ready to bloom.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Arlene, As soon as the cutting you sent me flowers I'll cross it to the one I got from Shirley and see if it's the same. Then at least yours can finally have one name. LOL

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

One has toothed(slightly) leaves and the other has entire leaves.Otherwise very similar to most people. :-)

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Kyle, which one has the toothed leaves????

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Rosamond should have slightly toothed edges on the leaves. :-)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

By George, I think you're right!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL.. I read Kyle's post as the leaves were very similar to most people....... I was thinking WOW that must be a deep thought...I just wish I could understand his analogy!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

The edges on mine are slightly rippled but there is no serration. I'll look real close tomorrow.
