Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Hello farmers. It's a beautiful sunny day and is finally warm for a change. Yesterday was nice too.
The neighbor's cattle are on our place now and it is calving season for them, about 7 calves so far. I found a new one this morning when I went to change the irrigation water. I also flushed the geese out of the grass as I went along the dike at the lower end of the pond. Three goslings went downhill into deeper grass, the parents and the other 3 went into the pond. They swam around with the parents talking to the missing goslings while I got some pictures of them.
There are a lot of weeds to pull and dig out, plus the lawn to mow and some seedlings to repot, plus some plants I bought yesterday need to be planted in the flower beds so I had better quit sitting here. Have a great day everyone, count your blessings.
