La Paloma Blanca

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Now I know why Monika warned me to grow this brug and why Mme Blin gave it to the Kompost ( itīs a Blin crossing ).

The bud doesnīt open since two weeks and now it is turning yellow and start to pass....
No brug for me, Monika...next time I will follow your advices.

Good to see you and your pics back, Ludger.... I never believe anyone elses' opinion, have to see for myself, then (I) can throw it away!

True words from both of you, thank you!!

Not a pretty brug. You are right to get rid of it and not waste time and space with it.

Sometimes I feel like a little child. Monika told me so much butI had to try it by myself......
always she was (has been) right.

I must wait for my own crossings..

You bet I am curious! Nobody has been able yet to pollinate HG.

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

I also already knew that the outer skirt crack up, but never mind. I am curious of the genes, what it will give to its children *lol*

Monika, what do you think would be a good cross for HG.
My HG is putting on buds again and I would like to at least try to pollinate it.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh my goodness.......this is the brug that has such mottled leaves.......maybe I should toss it............ then again it may not be........ the lady I got it from has not been right yet with what she has given me! LOL

Barbara I would use either a pure B. aurea or a x candida, preferable in yellow in order to maybe achieve colored doubles. I would also use CG, Whiskers or another Multihybrid just for a try. I had good results however, I knew the parents of the multis I used.

If you have both, use Dr.Seuss instead of CG for breeding doubles as it has less suav. genes.
