Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

My mom raised ducks! They are so cute!

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

If you should have slugs in your yard, you should raise them, too. Only the Indian runners eat such much slugs...

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I wish DH would let me, I have enough slugs to satisfy many:)

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Tell him that you would be much more happy without slugs...it worked here..lol.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Those are sure some cute little slug catchers.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

So far we have not had a problem with slugs here. One year a few holes appeared in my hosta, but some slug bait took care of them very quickly. I love all the animals and birds, but living on a state highway would not be a good thing for them. Great pictures Ludger.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Shirley, thank you!

Milo, IA(Zone 5a)

Ludger: We used to have the Indian Runners, they are quite the ducks, such comedians. So glad to see them again and surprised that they have the same name after translation.

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Ludger loved the pictures of your babies. They look like baby mallards. Thankgoodness I don't haave many slugs, at least there is one good thing about living in desert type climate. Donna

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Do you have a farm there Ludger? I wish I lived where I could have so many fun animals as pets. I think I would love to have some of those fancy chickens!

Bay City, MI(Zone 5a)

What a sweet pic, momma and lil babies :)

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Not really a farm..just some pets.

Ellabell, GA(Zone 8a)

I might need some of those. I have tons of slugs. Every morning I go on a Brug watering and slug killing round before work.
Do you keep the ducks fenced in, or do they stay by them self?
Do they eat any of your plants?

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Most time the ducks have free walking here. Only the youngsters with their mom are fenced. Mostly they only eat weeds.
