Very unusual happenings in my garden this year. So many plants are flowering that have not done so before.
this is Haemanthus montana a pseudobulb from South Africa
Haemanthus montana
Mark, I have read that there are many kinds of bulbs, pseudobulbs, corms, rhizomes, etc that South Africa has that are not usually seen in the Northern Hemisphere. Do you have a website that we give information on these?
http://www.thebulbman.com/Catalog.html is a guy in California selling them.
Read about them else where on the net before you buy because the are specific with their requirements
Are the flowers scented?
pass. I'll see tomorrow
it has a lovely delicate scent
Yum, thanks for testing
I have never thought of smelling albiflos or hirsutus either
Well, you know me - the first place a flower usually goes is on the end of my nose *G*
