Last year I had a couple of small patches of glads and the one patch had deformed blooms. CountryGardens(Bernie) told me I probably had thrips. So I just finished planting them for this year. How and when do I begin the treatment for thrips? Can I use the same stuff I use on the roses for aphids? I believe it is Orthene that I use there.
