Creamsickle

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

This one was partly under a big tree. You can't see in the picture, but a hailstone went right thru the skirt of the flower. The plant lost half it's Y, but this lone flower is pretty this morning. I love the way these smell like hyacinths.

I couldn't beleive how much hail you got...

Thats scarey...especially in a GH,not where I woulda run...I'd have been running next door.......pushing Lauren out of my way.... LOL

Creamsickle is way up there on my top 10 favorites,I have doubles that STILL haven't bloomed after 3 years,I got creamsickle last spring and its bloomed 2 times.....

Susie- you have such a great attitude! I'd be feeling sorry for myself this a.m.!
Still on track for another storm? Hoping they changed your forecast.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

The second storm came thru, just lots of rain. It's finally quit this morning. I pulled off lots of big leaves that were damaged really bad. Not much else I can do except wait for more stems to grow. The plants under the trees weren't hurt too badly, so I will still have blooms.

Cala, that is gorgeous. Keep doing what you're doing, which you seem to do so well...All your brugs are wonderful~!!

Your lone flower this AM is almost like a message of hope after such a bad storm.

Pretty bloom and I did not know that they smelled like a hyacinth. I can't imagine the wonderful aroma of a flush of these. Glad your bad weather is over with.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I didn't know about the fragrance either. Hyacinth are one of my favorite spring flowers, especially for the fragrance. Glad you didn't have more bad storms.
