HiLo Alocasia

I just bought this EE from Home Depot and was getting ready to plant it when I thought...sun...shade...where do I want to plant this? Remember it is very warm here so when the instructions say part shade it really means lots of shade for this area.

Please advise.

Thanks

Alocasia 'Hilo Beauty'

This is a small (1’) and attractive variegated aroid which can be grown in a pond or planted in soil. Will take full sun to partial shade.

Found this online....

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I killed everyone of mine I put in the pond, now I grow them out of the pond,in patial shade and it did great last year....

Thanks all....I don't have a lot of partial shade so I'll try it in shade for a while ands see how it does. It's supposed to be in the 90's here tomorrow.

Here is a picture of the EE.

Oh Gloria....please donīt post such pictures...lol..
you know I fell in love with variegated plants.

Now my must have list got still longer....
yust to think about it: Much variegated like more sun( see the brug Maya..)may be because of the missing clorophyll..donīt know.
