someday mine will grow up and look just like it!

Gorgeous.....

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Golden Lady is funny, sometimes she has a yellow "belly button", sometimes she's all golden color and sometimes more like a cream color. Here is the same plant with a "belly button"

gee,I think I like that better.....

Cala,
Mine has the same color...still cute.

Mine had a belly button, and then a stong wind knocked it right off. Had more pods, and one of them was all yellow. One with the belly button never came all the way down. Wish I could work a camera - would love to show you my species white, that has two beautiful skirts and another one in there too.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Is it certian plants that do that or are they on the same ones that drop all the way?

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

I like it both ways, but prefer it without belly button.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

cc, my double white that has the other skirt in there too did not have the extra skirt last year when it bloomed.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Gee Roz, if the girls do not show you how to use a camera when they are there I will do something drastic!!! LOL.

I wish mine would bloom yellow. did these all come from Logees?

Everyone that I sent a cutting out to...if yours blooms yellow please let me know.............

Cala, have you put L'amour on this one? I wonder if you could get a pink seedling from this one?

Mine opens greenish yellow and turns to cream.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Mine is even more cream colored than yours Kell. I like this brug and I love the first picture you posted Susie. Great color.

Frannie and Kell, are you guys taking a road trip together? Sounds like a great time. Wish you could swing by here. I'd love to see you again Frannie and would really like to meet you Kell.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

So Callalily girl..... is yours a Logees GL?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Oh, forgot to answer the question. I think I fell asleep for a few minutes.
Yes, it's a Logees.

Your brugs are looking wonderful Susie.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

So mine should turn yellow one of these days! And yours Brugie, is yours a Logee's? ThoughIi will say I am not unhappy with my cream one. I just love how it hangs off the tree, showing its innards!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

too pretty!

Kell,
Mine has never turned the same yellow as Cala's.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Kell, I'm poor in the memory department, but I know it came from one of the gals in the south. Was it you Glory, who send GL to me? I think that is where it came from Kell. Try taking a picture with a flash and see if that brings out more color. That was something a member mentioned some time ago....that the flash will intensify the color even if used during the day.

S,
I think I sent it to you....as you know my memory isn't the best either. LOL

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Now you gals stop that!!! Think those are "Senior moments"??? Senior, not senile!

Sr. is right....you know your getting old when the girl at Fantastic Sams gives you a Sr. Citizen discount and you don't even ask first. :0)
