CC . . that is a very pretty white bloom. I can see why with all the blooms you are having that you would never be without a greenhouse again.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I really like white brugs esp those with a flouncy skirt. So pretty.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

This bloom is soooo small........I should grab one and put it next to another to show just how small.....

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

I like it CC. It is pretty! How is the fragrance of this one?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I like the small white flowers.

Pretty CC.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Really a pretty white.

FSH, TX

Definitely looks like a multihybrid to me. Clear versicolor tendencies in the calyx.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

What does the foliage looks like CC? Soft pubescent without gloss?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Monika,Yes,they are soft, not real fuzy though,no gloss to the leaves......

It is blooming at 3 foot tall........

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

when you take cuttings, let me know so I can get a good trade ready!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I asked because it could also be a arborea. B. arborea often differ when raised out of seeds. The calyx does not always have a 'horn'

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I'd be flipping out if it was an arborea!!!!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

CC, it looks a lot like audrey hepburn, two summers ago i sent some cuttings of eric's seedlings before they bloomed, i'm not saying that's what it is but it looks a lot like it. of course there could be 10,000 other similar looking brug seedlings out there.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

that could be why I love it so much, AH is one of my favorites. here's the only picture I got of her last year.

The calyx looks different

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Where did you get it cc?

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

here's a pic of a bunch of em.... i defer to Monika. Monika, you have a better eye and knowledge than me for sure.

man I love that brug!!!

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

It has far from arboreas flower edge. Its pentagonal as in the picture, some times more, sometimes less, but it is always there. It looks more like Arlenes hybrid, but a bit fatter flower. The spaces between the tendrils could indicate EP. Could be due to the time of season though.

The calyx looks longer and thinner on AH than cc's flower.
They are both beautiful though.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I have one that look's simalar to Arlenes but that was a seedling from a Aurea X that I had gotten in trade from GW.

This one had more of a bell where it comes out of the calyx.
It is also from those seedlings, but not sure what batch. This will be its 3rd summer, but I can't blame the brug,I kinda stunted some of them by keeping them in small pots the first year I planted them.......

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I am not sure, arlene. I was just guessing as CC mentioned the small flower. When raising arboreas from seeds it surprises how much the seedlings differ from each other. There is a wide range of flower shapes.
Some plants are very susceptible for leaf spots (fungus).
arlenes plant is definitley a Multi

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I have done that also CC........kept them in tiny pots for a year! LOL. Then when I put it in a bigger one they just take off. So I was wondering do they Y by age or by size?
Anyone know?

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

That's like Ida of Soro. It seems to grow more different from my normal arborea by the day! The leaves are big and heart shaped and sometimes curl under at the edges but my other arboreas leaves are very silvery and narrow and often serrated!

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

That sounds very much like her *lol* btw. I am considering to write to the real Ida. I told her a few years ago that I thought of name this one after her, but I never bothered to tell her, that I actually did *lol*
