I just love it Glory! So pretty. Does it hold its blooms out like GL? That leaf looks huge! Its leaves takes after its dad! I can't wait to see what all the other seedlings look like. too exciting.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

The flower and the leafes are very nice,a very good brug. Even if the double will not come out really.May be in summer.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

That is beautiful Glory!

Kell,
Not sure what it will do yet...it's still to new. The leaves are very pretty and very fuzzy.

Thanks all....I sound like a first time Mother here. LOL

Monika you were so right....it was bedtime for me but what a short night here it is 6:30 in the morning.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

it's got a beautiful shape Glory!

tig,
I do hope it get larger...right now it's a small flower.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

looks like it's still inside? it probably will then, but I like it small. :) would be an asset for those that grow them on patios.

tiG,
The plant isn't small...the tree is about 5-6 ft tall right now....she is a cute. When I saw the flower I thought of Eric and how he likes small flowers.

Now that's the color I thought GL was going to be! Glory very nice.
John

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

yes, but don't you think that's a small tree for a Whiskers seedling? for a lot of seedlings. I had some bloom at that size too, but I kept them pot bound. However tall it finally ends up being, I love the flower. even if it was a single:)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It's pretty Glory.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

A really pretty one, shows much promise. Maybe next time inside skirt will drop

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Even if the skirt doesn't drop, it has a nice color, long tendrils and great re-curve. If it smells good, you've got a winner. Great pictures Glory.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Okay dumb question. I have been pretty good about keeping up with names and initials but what is GL? Gorgeous Brug!

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

GL = Golden Lady.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Gloria, it is so pretty. I love the shape of the flower and the wonderful leaves on it. I do believe that the next flush of blooms will drop that inner skirt. Can't wait to see. I can see why you are a proud mama.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I was just thinking Glory, this is a preview of the excitement to come later this summer when everyone's seedlings start to bloom. We are all going to have such fun looking at everyone's pictures.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Thanks MaVie! :)

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

u're welcome Chele :)!

Kell,
You are so right...I sure hope we get lots and lots of double this year. Ron and I just added another row of shelves behind the GH for the next seedling that will be ready for the outside. I like to keep them out of the GH as much as possible because I have no fans in there and it really gets hot.

Cala and BrugNanny I sure hope the little guy's are in bloom when y'all come this way.

tiG,
Who knows what the next flush will look like....maybe each flower will be twice the size and triple. LOL

John,
I too thought this is what color GL looked like but GL is always a cream color.

Heaven ; ), Denmark(Zone 7b)

Hi proud mamma! :) What nice flowers on your seedling :D As I love it as it is I hope not it get any darker, but it will possible do that :)

Glory,
I most certainly like this one. Looks like a small bit of suaveolens influence in it as well which is another plus in my book. I must confess this is looking very good to me. I especially like the fact that there is no narrow midsection. She justs bursts out of the calyx. The calyx by the way is not too restrictive which is yet another plus. I have noticed that many of my flowers were not the same in the second or third flush as well so who knows if this one will be darker in yet its next flush. It could also harbor some pink genes as well. I sure hope your thinking of pollinating this one before it goes to waste or else using its pollen on another of your prized hybrids. Yes, its true...I like small flowers with an obvious mix of traits from all three species that are short and compact. I can't wait to see how this one performs for you in the coming months. Is this one a first year bloomer from seed as well?

Eric,
I have pollinated the 4 existing flower with:
Dr. Seuss
Versicolor Peach
Your Candida Pink Hybrid
Tropical Sunset.

I also have another double from GL X Whiskers..the flowers on it are more like GL...I pollinated them but can't for the life of me remember with what. LOL

The pollen from the this hybrid was very dry but the pollen from the other double was nice so I kept it and will use it on one of my other girls.

Tonny,
I too hope it will stay pale but if not maybe the other 23 seedling will bloom double and stay this color. LOL
