Spider plants are one of my favorites, so when I saw this plant recently I picked up a couple because I thought its needs would be similar to my spiders (and of course it was striking). I have them at the office, new leaves are growing, old ones are drying off, but they just don't seem very happy.
Does anyone have any tips on growing this? Can it take sun if I put it outside for the summer? Does it need higher humidity? Does it like to be potbound like the common spiders?
I think I found what might be seeds on it, but they don't seem to be developing. Some are a bit plump, but most are just flat and black. Anyone know about those either?
Chlorophytum Fire Flash
Hi,
From what I know the plant needs bright light and high humidity.
Thank you, Honibee. I was afraid of the high humidity part - it's really dry at the office. Guess I'll be spraying it much more often!
