my Golden Lady is blooming..........more green than golden!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I cut off all the lower sidegrowth half way down. They are rooting so quickly now! Kept their buds. I haven't pollinated any yet. Hoping a good brug will hurry up and open besides my trusty CG and generic yellow that always are in bloom. These are much bigger blooms then last summer on this plant. The buds are such a shiny green right up to when they open.

It's beautiful Kell. Do what Bruno said, put pollen on them!

Kell, Have you noticed how different the fragrance is on this one? It seems more spicy to me than floral.

John, I went out a little while ago to take a picture of the stigma for Monika and did notice the fragrance and you are right. You know, according to Glory, this is the perfect one for you to pollinate your first brug on! LOL. Watch, you will end up with a double pink if you do it............ beginner's luck. Glory got a beautiful yellow double from this one.

Sure Deb, and email me with what else you want besides the sang and vulcanicolas which I am trying to root as we speak. I have the memory of an inanimate object.

Bruno, can I send them to Ireland???

See how shiny green this one is right up till it opens?

Gosh Kell, your Golden Lady is so big and pretty. I can just see all the seedpods hanging on it now. You are going to be busy pollinating all those blooms.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

I love it! The one you sent me has little buds on it. I suppose I should take them off? But how can I after looking at the momma plant bloom?!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

I would not be able to remove the buds either, Kristi. We don't see that many blooming around here, no way would I take any buds off!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Do you have this one Gloria? It sure makes lots of buds and seems to hold its buds even when cut off to root. Need one? I think it will give you lots of flowers.

I think it is so much cooler now that I know Monika's friend created this. Amazing how someone's work from so far away can make so many people so happy to just look at it.

Gosh! Is it beautiful, Kell :D

Co.Wicklow, Ireland(Zone 8b)

Course you can kell! :o) No Brug regulations here! Have to wash the soil(dirt) off the roots and wrap them in damp kitchen paper though! Soil is the only restriction!

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Kell, that is gorgeous.
