Good morning!
It's a bright sunny day today. The forecast is for storms for the rest of the week. I hope it holds off until Thursday as the kids at school have a district-wide track day tomorrow. All the kids from the three elementary schools get together and race and do field events. It's crazy but fun.
Hope everybody is ok after those nasty storms. It's been 20 years ago since our little town got hit. Just seems like yesterday. Jewel, I thought you would get some nasty stuff for sure the way the radar looked on Sunday. Glad it missed you.
DH had to chase cows again this morning and it wasn't even Hootchies fault. I heard the 4-wheeler racing by the house a couple of times while I was in the shower this morning and I knew it wasn't good. He wants me to check them when I get home this afternoon and I hope they are all in. Those young heifers learn fast!! I think we need to set up more electric fence. DH says he's going to hook it up to 110, but if they clear the 4 foot fence, it won't do any good. The neighbors won't be happy if our cows get into their corn this summer!! Better check the farm insurance when I get home to make sure we have enough!!
Mary, you sure sound like a busy beaver making those irrigation dams!! ;)
I have come to the conclusion that Shiloh will never be friends with the cats. His nose is so scratched up already, but he just goes after them all the time. He's a glutton for punishment. LOL He's quit being sneaky about it walking around them and then pouncing. Now he runs up and pounces on them instead.
Well, gotta run. Take care everyone.
