Lene has planted Friendshop D. in the middle of the yard, so now its officially summer and I am happy as a cat *lol*
I have taken lots of cuttings for a dear friend of Germany and his wife that peek in around my B-day in June and also some for the family as I intend to start driving them completely nuts with Brugs before end of the summer :)
Lenes brother Erik is already hooked on both Hertzenbrücke and a lot small unsorted Brugs that we got last year and mom is very close to an addiction too. Only I stay barely addicted. Knowing her she will go crazy crossing them from the minute they bloom. She does that with everything else*lol*
In the large Brug bed went Brug R, Avalon, aurea Golden queen, suaveolens pink, Ida of Sorø, the wild arborea, Hertzenbrücke, Morgensonne and Goldtraum. Its going to be a heck of a fine summer *lol* added: and CG + Dr. Suess. My brain is getting older, you know :)
Hertzenbrücke and more had Y`ed and we have made a special place for the variegated B. sanguinea oro verde. That will be used for crosses *lol* No, not the variegation, but the shape and the color of the flower is simply more than outstanding *lol*

Officially summer *lol*
So glad to hear spring is there to stay! Isn't it nice.
What a life that cat has! Just hanging around the greenhouse- oh to be so lucky.
That kitty cat sure looks comfy!
you should have named the cat..'CK'...Casual Kitty!!LOL
Hi Tonny! My cats would also go into the hoophouse and sleep on the shelves. They would even push off a pot if it was in their space!
I have never even heard of variegated B. sanguinea oro verde. Do you have any pictures?
Yes, he is very relaxed and like Kells cats he like to sleep on the shelves, tables, but I have never seen him in a pot, so far *l* Kyle I will consider that name *lol* As long as I don`t tell anyone the meaning is casual kitten they would just thing that CK sounds real cool :) Kell, Oro verde was a sport on a green leaved sanguinea plant that put out variegated leaves. Almost all the light color is found along the leaf edges. The flower is very slender looking and as I only know if from pictures I assume that it is golden yellow tipping over in yellow orange. I will post a couple of good pictures of the leaves and growth habit very soon :)
No, Kell. You know that I ain`t addicted to Brugs *l* I have next to nothing in those pots. Its just that I have not recieved any training rooting CK and nobody want to tell me how ... ? :`( *lolol* How did you root Molly May?
btw. she look like a sweet little thing :)
by her tail Tonny! just stick in the dirt......................
She is really a little thing....tiny...... we also call her Molley Mouse! When she lies down she totally conforms to your body, just falls on you and however she lands she stays no matter how uncomfortable she seems to be. Her body just goes totally limp.
I will try to keep this trait when I start to hybridize her..............
If I can manage to rook CK`s tail we could try to cross as I have always wanted a carpet before the staircase looking a bit like CK and with Molly Mouse`s flexibillity and CK`s color that could be a success, but how do I get Molly Mouse x CK gremlings to lye still for more than five minutes? *lol*lol*
Here `s the Oro Verde for you :) Isn`t it nice foliage?
Thanks Tonny! Your Oro Verde looks so different, with those wavy leaves. So tell me, it looks like it is not a strong grower, is it? What are the flowers like?
Molley Mouse would be great as a blanket, she is so warm and cuddly and just melts into your body as she lays on top. She prefers my DH but when she does grace me with her love, I am in heaven!
I know that feeling. when the cat grace us with their love *lol* Sharnie is definitly Lenes cat, but when she once ín a while choose to come over ... wow! :)
Yes, Oro verde seem like a reasonalbe good grower. Here is a link to a picture with a flower. Enjoy *lol*:

(go to Brugmanisa list (O-S).
Do you remember that I mentioned the sick looking sanguineas and that I tried to keep some in the GH to see if those made better?
Herre is two that I took outside. They looked healthy enough when the GH, but look now :(
However, here`` s one of the three controls that I kept in the GH :D
btw. all ... both those outside and inside ... was treated the same way to eliminate the possibillities of deviation through differences in watering, fertilization etc.
The sanguineas in the GH has between 26-35 *C daytime and 8-10 *C nights.
