Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Hello farmers.
I'm on my way to set some dams in our larger pasture for flood irrigation. Our 4 wheeler is a handy tool, I can carry two plastic dams on poles and a shovel, and if I am lucky and quick I can get through the gate without any of the horses escaping. My irrigation boots got the clean out with the vaccuum this morning, I'm not sticking my feet in there with all those spiders that have been hiding in them all these months since they were worn!
Breezy needs a short workout today, and I might get some more yard work done if the rain showers don't come back. The recent rains have greened things up very well, now we just need some warm weather to make the hay grow. The ranchers have been worried about the low snowpack all winter but the rain we have had has been making up for some of the shortage, so the hay crop and pasture might be looking better than we thought.
Have a great day, count your blessings.
