Just bought a triple? purple Datura, mine was not in bloom and just had a fleeting glimpse of the blooming ones as they were carried away. I believe it was light purple with dark purple edges--very fluffy looking. The leaves look like Brug leaves. Anyone know what I have? Is Black Currant all purple?

Thanks MaVieRose, do you think I was just mistaken on the light and dark purples? I saw yours in the Database which is why I brought up the name. I could have sworn it was all purples, but it was overcast in the morning. Is this what they call triple?

when the day time temperature is hot, the color is more intense. later in the day, as it cool down it reverts to lighter shades. at least that is what i experienced growing them in part shade last year.
some do come to be triple, some double. one never know what u will get as a bloom. same applies both to yellows and whites daturas.
am positively sure u will love it, specially at night, the fragrance permeates into the evening air. fragrance is very lovely and inviting.
