Young Monarch cat on Asclepias physocarpa. When I purchased the plant I noticed there were 3 Monarch eggs attached. They have since hatched & are now on there way to becoming very big eating machines.

Eating machines is right! I love to find these cats on my plants. I had 4 on a small A perennis one evening. The next morning they were gone and so was every leaf and bloom on the plant!
is there a picture of the eggs on here somewhere? or can someone take one?

Hey tiG, No problem. Have you seen any Monarchs in you area? They haven't come to my area yet. These pics were from a few stowaway eggs on a A. Physocarpa plant I purchased about a month ago. The eggs have since eclosed & the Monarchs went on there merry way. It won't be long However for the Monarchs to return to my area. I say in the next 2-3 weeks.
