'Sugar Bush'

Here's a rather different narcissus flowering in my mother's garden
I always think it's a strange effect, but not unpleasing

The colouring even carries through onto the backs of the petals

that is a lovely daff. Is it short or tall?

I've just discovered it's not Sugar Bush at all - my mum was telling me porkies and I didn't check!

It's about 10"

Back to the drawing board - I'll have to do some research - so if anyone knows its name I'd be really grateful!!

Looks like 'Pipit'.

The cups on Pipit fade to white as the flower ages and it only grows to a height of about 1ft.

Very pretty daffy.

Yes, I looked at Pipit, but it doesn't seem quite right.
Very close I agree, but Pipit has more than one flower per stem, which my mum's doesn't seem to. Also the colouration is slightly different. I came across Pipit in a nursery today and am now even more convinced it's not this. The colouring was much streakier and less defined and also the flowers were smaller in relation to the height of stem and, as I say above, a number on each stem.
This one is more like a small cupped daffodil and only has one flower per stem
