This is a beautiful flower. It is larger than Butterfly with very long tendrils.
Pink Beauty
Pink Beauty is a beauty, thank you for sharing.Do you use it for your next hybrids?
Yes Ludger. It's definitely being crossed.I was out in the GH tonight with my paintbrushes.
Happy to hear this. I will post pictures in some weeks ( please remember me)I do it with my fingers, much better.grin
Very lovely. I guess that one is going to have to go to the top of my want list.
I guess she got the name Pink Beauty for a good reason. Terry, did you have her in bloom last summer? I found that she doesn't handle the very hot temps we have here in the summer when in full sun. The plant didn't wilt, but the blooms just couldn't handle it. I don't know if I can keep her small enough to grow her in a pot so she can have some afternoon shade or not. She was a very large plant and fast grower for me.
Snow,
Just beautiful...save the pollen.
I am Glory. LOL
Shirley, This is the cutting I got from you last year. It bloomed one or two flowers in the fall when I brought it in but they weren't very big and they were much lighter pink. When it bloomed this time I was surprised at the large flower and darker pink color. I'll be sure to put it where it will get afternoon shade. Thanks for the warning.
That one is a beauty. I have it from Brugie. Thank you Shirley!
have nothing overly technical to say,----but snow--that is lovely. :) cheryl
gorgeous! Is it darker in the summer?
I think it will be a little darker with warm temperatures. It was very light in the fall.
Hi, Snow. have to bring it up, lol... i sent you a pink beauty too, right? now is this rosamond or pink beauty? I'm glad to see you have so many blooms.
Wow is that pretty! Such a nice shade of pink...
So good to see you posting Arlene. Missed you.
Yes, the one you sent me hasn't bloomed yet but it should start soon. I got this last year from Shirley marked PB.Did you get yours from the same place? If different I can compare the difference when yours blooms.
Edited to say this pic was taken the day they opened. They do turn darker pink the 2nd and 3rd day.
