Shady sitting area

Orlando, FL(Zone 9b)

I need to work on landscaping the back yard. It's pretty much a blank slate. I have decided to start with this sitting area. I've actually already planted it with the Walter's Viburnum 'compacta' shrubs, Wild Coffee (Psychotria nervosa), beautyberries (Callicarpa americana)--the sticks you can just make out around the bench and between the trees, violets, and a plum tree (Prunus umbulata). I can't believe how much different it looks now! I'm not quite done. I want to fill in with some flowers so I have some color throughout the year. I have some Stokes' Asters to go in there, and planted some tuberoses, red caladiums, and mixed asiatic lilies. I'm going to see how they do, as it's not as sunny in the places I planted the bulbs as I had thought. Will post some pix of the plants that went in and the finished project.
