...nope not complaining, lol.I decided to spend my rainy day meeting another Brug fan just over the border in Germany, and what fun it was!! Her name is Ingrid, and I filled my basket with cuttings, and a bunch of seedlings plus a Canna or two for her,and came home with loads of Fuschias,Hibiscus and new Brugs!!Now I have gelber Riese, grand Marnier,Dark Rosetta, etc, etc.I learned a lot from her,and realised how behind I am with repotting(her alley trees are in the ground already, and I haven't even begun to transplant).Yes,I am excited, but these days it doesn't take much, lol!!I am even happy for some rain, because it means I don't have to water tomorrow!

A rainy day...
Same here, lots and lots of rain, perhaps a bit too much all at once. Thankfully the brugs seem to love it!!
Regards,
Olga
Same here Gwist, storm and rain, much rain.
Sounds like your day was a great one. Now quit foolin' around girl and get those brugs a perkin'. Seriously, I bet you will have some beautiful brugs this year. Can't wait to see pictures of your new ones in bloom.
Yay for you--nothing gets you motivated to work in your garden more then new plants---even if they are humble old marigolds :) and free plants are even better. lucky you cheryl
I am glad that you had a great day visiting and came home with a variety of new things to plant. It is always exciting to add new plants to our gardens. You got some very nice brugs.
Sounds like a great way to spend a rainy day. You do have a nice assortment of Brugs.
you lucky duck Gwist, why do none of my friends have such brugs to share? LOL
Lol,Kell! I did luck out actually with 8 new Brugs to pot up! I am hoping all of them root really fast though, because I will be stateside in 3 1/2 weeks!! Maybe I should pack them in my suitcase for safe keeping, lol!!
hey Gwist, were are you going to be???
Hi Gwist...it great to know that there are more European Brug Lovers out there! Lucky you!
Bonnie,I will be in New York on the 28th,then to Baltimore on Friday the 30th till Sunday then back for a week in New York.I really wanted to go to Logees, but the 5 hour trip, hmmm.Of course,I will have to see Padre and his Brugs when I am back in the Bronx.
Hey Bruno, how is that Canna doing? I just put mine in the ground today, but I still have tons of other plants to re-pot!It was great to meet another brug lover so close, and she even has her own german Forum for Brugs and other plants.
Gwist, If it's at all possible you really should try to go to Logees. You'll be so close. It's really awesome there and you won't be disappointed.
That's great Gwist...Luky you to have a Brug friend so close! I'll have to try get more people in Ireland growing Brugs...I don't know any other brug growers here :o(
The Canna got off to a slow start but it's starting to grow quite fast now :o))) I'm cheating by keeping it in my greenhouse for a while LOL
Do you have the address for here forum? I know it's in german but it'd be nice to take a look!
