Drove to a meeting tonight in pelting rain. There were floods in places in the lanes and the motorway was solid spray!

Some welcome rain here too Philomel - it's amazing how much it brings out the smell of certain plants in the garden. Have woken up to blue skies and sunshine this morning so will head out whilst the going is good !

it belted down all day in the south and when we were ready to come home the heat was almost unbearable.
