Oops, I will care my Butterfly, what a great flower it shows in that season.( good pink very early)

I love looking at your photos, Snowhermit, just to realizee what is possible with brugs in NH. I should post a pic of how mine look after the winter. Terrible at my first overwintering attempt. Even the ones I haven't tossed look pretty ratty, though growing quickly now.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Studley, please post pictures and just wonder here!!!4,5,6 and seven a are not very different.8a seems to be the same after some years.
Sometimes wintertime may be and is a little bid longer in that different zones. If you handle your brugs you will got it very very soon.

I am not a brugdoc...smile..I just want to give you my experiences (?? knowlledges..)
Be shure: I paid with dead brugs before I got it, yust wonder and the northeners will tell you.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I wish I was the Brugdoc and not a rootdoc,LOl,I would like to see how yours are holding up Studley,I am glad I don't have Snows winter,I would have to have a GH,This is a very happy looking Brug Snow!Wish I was sniffin it!

OK, I will take some photos tomorrow if I remember. Here's the scenario to prepare you all. I overwintered 4 large brugs +- 6 ft (2m) and about 48 cuttings in a cold bulb cellar. We had the coldest weather in some years and I never looked at them. What you will see are the strongest of the bunch.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

and I never looked at them. That should be the strongest..

Also in cellars ( during wintertime) brugs need some water and care. Sorry, for these short words..donīt know how to say it in an other way...

Hugs

Ludger

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

snow can you come up with a scratch and sniff version of the pic?

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Oh my - I do hope mine will bloom this year.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Wish I could bottle up the scent and send it to everyone. Between Butterfly, suav. Variegated, v. Cuba, Whiskers and Maya all blooming my whole house smells awesome.
Thanks Studley. It does take a little extra care to get them to grow good up here. You've got to push them for such a short growing season.
Ludger, Butterfly bloomed this winter and the color never changed. It didn't turn lighter like EP did. It keeps it's rich color.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

Good!!
