DH was going to till up the Brug gardens this weekend. It's not going to happen. Woke up to 5" of snow and it's still coming down.
Springtime? Where is it?
oh no, from bad to worse! poor terry:(
Terry,
That's awful.
Awwwww........that's terrible, and I thought I could never wait for winter to be over, here in Ohio!
That was a nice short summer we had ,right Snow?
I can't beleive I had to drive thru a snowstorm last nite...
Oh, no. I am sorry to see all that white stuff. Hopefully it is just short lasting, before the spring and the warmth is back.
Gee, makes me realize how I should quit whining about rain. I am so sorry snowhermit.
*lol* Lenjo, funny you mentioned it *lol* What we make of the weather is relative *lol* I long for winter, when the sun is heating and summer at Christmas. I guess its a kind of attempt to balance things. Lene nearly had a fit laughting at me the other afternoon. We had 22 *C in the shade and she caught me whining about all that heat. If I could swap with you I wouldn`t whine about a little rain here. It`s been dry since the last couple of months and rain is badly needed to start all the seeds in the ground.
still looks beautiful to someone that never sees any snow!
good eyes John! Snow must be treating the birds too well and it forgot to fly to your house for the winter! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Oh my word! I hope it all melts away soon. I am very grateful to God that I'm able to garden outside year round and I wish everyone else could also. Snowhermit, I'm sending you sunny thoughts and smiles from sunny and hot South Florida. :-)
Terry, I hope by the time you read this that the snow is melting away. I'm so glad you have your greenhouse. Wish you were getting our rain instead of snow.
Terry, I am with you in my thoughts. Snow in April can happen here, too.
Often it will kill the fruittreeflowers. Hope you will get better weather, very soon.
Thanks for all your good wishes. For those of you that are snowless I'll be happy to share mine and I'll even pay for postage to ship it.LOL
Shirley, It's snowed all day and still is now. I guess the snowblower will get one more workout.
Ludger, I'm just worried about my Blueberry bushes as they are covered with snow.
Terry, I believe the Blueberries will stand the snow. We have them here wild in woods. They do know snow...
Thanks Ludger. I won't worry then. :)
Your snow is still flying, huh? I'm SO SORRY.... With every flake that flys, I feel your pain. I've seen enough snow this winter to last me a LIFE TIME! I hope it melts VERY quickly for you. Take care and stay warm.
Kristi
