A couple of years ago we were able to buy purple carrots at our supermarket, and they were really good! They cost more, but I understand they are more nutritious as well as being better tasting. Now, we can no longer buy them and I have been searching everywhere to purchase seeds for them, with no luck. Does anyone know of a source?

I read somewhere that carrots used to always be purple and we hybridized them and selected the seeds to get the orange carrots we know today.
