Hi all. Just wanted to introduce Razz and Willow...Razz is the black n white one, Willow all white, with red eyes...They were adopted a year ago after I found them on Petfinder.com...Razz has a malocclusion(sp?) which means her teeth are constantly growing longer and longer because the top and bottom teeth dont meet so they cant grind down..This means that every 3 weeks hubby and I have to cut her teeth down with wire cutters. The first time we made note of a teeth problem, we noticed her bottom teeth growing out towards her nose, and we took her right to the vet, where it took them 3 minutes to cut her teeth, and promptly hand me a bill for 60.00 (yes, 60.00), and they told me this would have to be done at least once a month.DH, having been a dental technician about 20 years ago figured we should try doing it ourselves as there was no way we could have afforded 60.00 every month to do her teeth...For the past year we have been doing it, and it has been no problem...
