Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Very nice pictures CC....the chicks are so cute.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

That is so great CC. Those little chicks are too cute!

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

CC, your plants look great. Isn't it nice to have blooms this time of year in the Artic Tundra. LOL

san antonio, TX(Zone 8a)

oh, bite me cc...hahaha...kidding! i just told peter he has to either buy me or build me a green house before winter, darn it!! i just showed him all these pictures, and then pointed out that you live in new york, and he said, but she has a green house, and i said...EXACTLY...and I DON'T!! Hahahaha!! my easter lilies aren't even gonna bloom in time for easter...oh, by today, i mean...the buds are only as big as my thumbnail!! well, i'd better go...maybe i can work a deal with my hubby for a greenhouse .

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

crestedchik........you have your own "Peeps"!!!!!!!!! Your plants look great! My brugs are blooming in my GH too, they are sooo pretty. I took a small Dr. Suess to church last night for the service today. He has 4 gorgeous orange flowers.

CC, To cool ...that one peep to the left of the watering thing already has a hairdoo!! Your going to have to replace the roof on your barn with glass!!,with as many brugs as you have going : )

CC . . they are all so pretty and I am glad that you have your greenhoouse. Baby chicks are so cute.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Awwww.....baby chicks are adorable, almost better than brugs? Love them both.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Those chicks are about a week old, there are some in the incubator hatching right now.
The Polish chicks are born with a huge nob on the top of their heads(the bigger ,the better for showing)The other chicks are Sumatras.......

Yes ,its great having the GH,there are bougies in bloom, fuchsias, and flowering maples......
I'm in heaven everytime I go in there, don't know how I went so long without it.......
Especially since when I go outside the daffodils are just starting to bloom......

Meiyu,it didn't cost that much for the GH itself,I'd say under 400 bucks,it was the furnace to heat it up here in the snowbelt thats the killer ,along with the propane...LOL

Meiyu,
It shouldn't cost you very much to keep a GH heated in San Antonio...I haven't lived there is in 17 years but your weather is a lot like ours here. I think last winter I only spent about 100.00 to heat my gh....I use propane too. My gh is 16ft x 36ft.

Montgomery, AL(Zone 8a)

CC, I can only hope that my babies bloom before Christmas. Yours are really pretty. I'll gladly pay postage for me to send your Creamsickle. lol

CC nice pictures-is that sky vine a thunbergina? if so i had one--couldnt get it to bloom-

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Must be an Iowa problem because I couldn't get mine to bloom either. Had it two years and saw about 4 or 5 blooms the whole time. It grew like crazy, just wouldn't bloom. I didn't do anything to it either. Barely had to water it.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Mine drys out fast.....have to water it more than the brugs.........

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Mine was planted in the ground one year and in a pot another. Didn't seem to make any difference. I didn't have time to mess with it, so you know where it went.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

CC, I'm so glad you got your greenhouse! Your plants look great. I sort of miss having baby chicks(notice I said "sort of")and baby rabbits.
cottosnag and Brugie, if you prune the blue sky vine too much you won't get flowers. Don't give too much nitrogen fertilize, instead use something like Bloom Booster. It hates cold damp conditions, loves warmth and sun. In Mexico they have it growing as a covering for outdoor patio areas. It will cover anything in it's way, lol.

Brugvalley, Germany(Zone 7b)

CC your pictures are great.Brugflower here, too. For chicks I still have to wait some weeks.
