Very nice! How is the scent on this one?

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

I find that very few of the Curcuma flowers have much of a scent at all. If anyone knows of one, I'd love to hear about it.

It's primarily grown for its cuts, both flower and foliage.

How do you think it would take to container life?

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

I did the Cordata Pink in a container last year (as I do most of mine), and it looked wonderful. The biggest key is to put a well draining mixture in the container. If they stay soggy, they'll rot. I would do it in a 1-2 gallon container.

Thanks Chris, are you carrying this one at your shop?

Valrico, FL(Zone 9b)

Yes. I have a few of these left.

Wait until you see the Musella I'm about to upload. It's not something BT offers, because we're not licensed to sell plants, but it's incredible.

Sweet!!!I guess I will have to do some surfing to find a Siam Tulip!I bet the Yellow Nana is out of my league.:0(

They claim this Musella is tolerant to -15 C or 5 F. It's a pricey one though. Bareroot wholesale to commercial nurseries is about 13.00 delivered. You're probably looking at 50.00-75.00 in any garden center for a finished one.
