I'm looking for Gloriosa Lily bulbs (sorry.....don't know the botanical name). If anyone has any I will be happy to send postage, etc. for some. Just don't have anything to trade yet. Please e-mail me and let me know. Thank you!

Nope - wish I did, I got them twice in trade and both times I lost them! They rotted before they came up. They are soo beautiful, good luck.
She and I both had really puny ones from Michigan Bulb once, but they both pooped out and didn't do too much. I think mom got a bloom or two on hers, but mine didn't even do THAT much. I know she really wants to try growing one again.
They had some in the bulb co-op,maybe someone has some extras.....

Thank you Poppysue and Crestedchik for your replies. Today GW, DH and I were at Lupine Lover's and I mentioned that I would really like to have a gloriosa lily. LL broke into a big grin and told me to follow her. Lo and behold.......she had just planted a gloriosa lily bulb and said it needed an adoptive parent. Now it has one........ME!
Lucky you!! They are so pretty - I used to have lots of them when we lived in Fl, but can't seem to get them to grow here. They should grow here in GA, my grandmother used to grow them in Illinois. Did you know there is also a yellow one!! I have seen pictures of them, they are a little smaller than the red ones.

When I was at home depot a couple of weeks ago they had them there, for $4 packaged with the bulbs.
