I love this plant, it's such a dependable and carefree performer!
Yes, agreed! They are beautiful down here in Texas! We inherited several of them when we bought our house.
Maybe I'm in the wrong zone for Indian Hawthorn. I have 5 pink and 5 white bushes and although the foliage doesn't suffer, I never seem to have many blooms. The blooms are sparse and don't last long. Maybe my soil needs more acid, as I've been reading that they thrive in acidic soil. Is North Carolina not an ideal growing spot for this plant? Some of the pictures on this site are incredible, but they certainly do not look like my hawthorn!
This is it! This is what I've been looking for! I hope I can find one that I can afford this spring! thanks so much!!!
