I have several pots of night blooming cereus. How did you finally get it to bloom? Does it have to be a certain size or age before you get to see & smell these fragrant flowers?

Dear Shirley,
I have grown night blooming cereus in pots for years. The best bloom years were the ones when I regularly used miracle grow liquid fertilizer to water. The light setting is important, too. I've always grown them in bright shade.
This year I plan to try a brighter setting and see if it increases the frequency of bloom.
