It's really nippy outside. Haven't actually been outside yet but when Kyle left for work I felt a nasty draft as he opened the door for himself and the dogs.
We found the bike Shad has his heart set on. Really a beauty, made for comfortable pleasure riding on all types of terrain except mountains which we don't have here anyway. I talked to his mother and she wants me to call the store, have them fax her all the information on it and she'll look around in K.C. to see if she can find a better price/deal up there. The store we were in gives a bi-annual maintenance check for as long as he owns the bike. That's worth a LOT in our opinion. Quite a lot of money($320)but it should last him for a few years. When he came to live with us he was about 5'3" at the most-I remember that he wasn't any taller than I am and I'm 5'3". He is now 5'11" and still growing. This bike should fit him until he reaches 6'4" which is something very possible in this family. His mother is nearly 6', 2 of her brothers are over 6'3" and the other one is 6' I think. Jack was 6'6' before the kyphosis developed. There are plenty of tall men in my family too.
Jack needs to go to town today so I'll take this morning to do that. I'll get a much needed haircut while in town. This afternoon a close friend and I will be making those cream cheese mints for her granddaughter's wedding on Saturday. I haven't made those for years. The wedding colors are lavender and white. We'll make rose, leaf, wedding circles, and maybe star mints. I got some creme d' menthe and peppermint flavorings and have some others we can use
too.
Lisa, have you gotten the destestable deed done yet? I didn't mean that I don't do the ring around the bud with the iron, it's just that I also burn the bud itself until it pops to make sure it is killed out. Nubians are MUCH harder to kill the horn buds on than other breeds. The bucks also smell much worse. Just my opinion for what it's worth.
GOD bless and keep each and all of you. Be careful to thank GOD for each of your blessings or he made arrange for you to have fewer blessing for which to be thankful.
