hofwil x L`Amour and other wierdlings *lol*

The one left and the one right are different. The middle weirdling is a mix of both.

aurea orange x aurea wild species (I am not sure how wild this is. There was certainly suaveolens genes in it). These two represent the differences in the cross.

Hofwil x
Three basicly different leaf and growth types. When some of them end up on x that is because that the father is a secret even for me *lol* The labels blew off :)

These are Hofwil x no. 2 Also a weirdling growing extremous fast. All the no. 2 has leaves typical for Hofwil, whereas the no. 1 are different (maybe Dark Rosetta or a Pink Suav) *l*

There are much more weirdlings out there in the wintergarden, but it got too dark and the potatoes was about to be roasted instead of cooked :)

More later

hofwil x L`Amour sounds great! I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing updates of all of your hybrids Tonny!

I love weirdlings. :-) I have a few in my greenhouse too. Strawberry Creme X Tropical Sunset is about the strangest one I have. It grows very tall and skinny where the other seedling are short and fat. However, seeing what happens in the end is what is important and I can't wait to see some of my new seedlings blooming.

I also like he weird ones. Maybe because I'm a weird one, LOL.... Can't wait to see the results of these. They look very healthy Tonny.

city?? lol sticks, AR(Zone 7a)

how may extrodianry ppl were thought to be weird-----einstien ummm hemingway? perhaps you will come up with a genius brug-------------or then again perhaps it will become carnivorous n gobble you up? lololol good luck!!!!

Did I hear dark rosetta?????? LOL! Brugie yours sounds very intersting. I sure hope everyone's babies bloom this summer so we can see them all! Tonny is going to WOW us, I can just tell.

Shirley, Kristi and Cheryl, we are all kind of weird, but I don`t expect to find any genius Brugs among my crosses. I simply asked a lot of unknown Brugs, what they would do, if I helped them combine and these seedlings was their answer. If you find that I am not posting anymore this fall one of them probably has gobbled me up *lol* (Cheryl, if there ever will be made such a movie I like to invite you out to see it *lol*lol*).

Kell, nothing wrong with your ears *lol* Be glad you haven`t got mine *lol* Then I couldn`t hear a thing :| I was foolish enough to leave last years crossing notes on the computer and it crashed *lol* but that could be the cross with dark rosetta as a father (I never really could imagine that flower growing a beard).

After reading Padres threads in the Green house forum I couldn`t resist potting up all the seedlings in larger pots. Last week Henrik drove to Odense to get 700 13 cm pots and today I bought 300 litres of good planting dirt. I got through most of them + 75 "Pearly Gates". It was rainy outside, but nice behind the glass tho.

You are going to be a busy bee there Tonny! I saw Padre's GH........so neat and orderly and the plants are just flourishing, made me feel like I should get a move on also!

Yes, Kell that is a dream-house. We took many Brugs out when we installed the glass shelves, so I did a bit of cleaning up too, but that didn`t help much *lol* Lene has started to pot up the morningglories (6 trays). I think there must be a two hundred of those now in 13 cm pots, so it will soon be hard to find any space for the Brugs *lol*

Its unbelieable how fast the wierdlings grow now. Repotted from 7 to 13 cm pots in only six days there are roots all over *lol* Not tightly filled with roots, but they were at the sides and looking out the bottom holes.
