Kelly, your plant is just beautiful. Two Questions please.
What Zone do you live in? Would you know whether the Rocket Larkspur is one of many different cultivars.
Thank you in advance for the information.
I really want to plant this gorgeous flower, the colour
is my very favourite.

I live in zone 10, but rocket larkspur is an annual and should grow just about anywhere. I think that rocket larkspur is just a common name, rather than a cultivar name. Mine come in several colors (blue, purple, and pink) but the blue is the most common. These just came up in the yard on their own and come back on their own every year.

Thanks Kelli,
Do you know whether Delphinium and Larkspur are the same.
They look alike and they are Perennials. I live in zone 5B and it's pretty cold here.
When I am looking for plants that look different from the usual ones seen around here, most are for much warmer climates.
Sometimes very frustrating to see beautiful flowers growing
wild in the warmer climates and we are unable to grow more than a branch which is very expensive. I am referring now to Bougainvilla.
Punky.

Rocket larkspur and delphinium are not the same thing. I've not grown delphiniums, but rocket larkspur are definitely annuals. Mine die out when hot weather comes to stay. I might still have some seeds left that I saved in 2002, if you'd like to have them for SASE.
