Cod fish recipe?

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Welp, I love fish/seafood. And I love SALES. And cod was on sale so I got a couple pieces. Big pieces! These things are an inch thick, and each one looks like more than a serving! A very white-colored fish (looks like fillets).

The man said "some people like it, some people don't...depends on how it's cooked", or something to that effect.

Is this something that needs a special recipe? Is it best to broil it? grill it? poach it? batter it/fry it?

Any ideas? Pretty please? τΏτ
