A marvellous picture Alice, thank you for sharing.
yes, I thought I could do without, but I think.....
It looks beautiful and strong. I have a bit colchisine here myself to play around with, so it won`t be long, before we see more tetraploid Brugs, but none as beautiful as this one of course.

I managed to kill 2 snowbanks. I think they are very sensitive to cold. Could never get it to grow. kept dropping leaves.
Barb,
I posted a thread awhile back on bringing Snowbank thru winter.
They are cold sensitive a bit. But I did not lose a one of them.
Now that it has warmed ..they are literally taking off.
You should try again now and establish thru summer.
I think you will be okay then.
My largest plant (shown in pix) grew slowly over winter.
But did not set back at all. Maturity seems to make for better endurance.
My plant in pix was the largest of the ones I received early fall 2002.
It has continued to jump ahead of the others (with some extra TLC) ..lol
Thanks, everyone (o:
I will post if it blooms.
Hoping, hoping, hoping .... (o:
My snowbank died from cold too... maybe when I get caught up I will try with another one. Very pretty Alice :)
Mine is still alive and I was ready for warm weather and high hopes of seeing it grow by leaps and bounds, but today it is snowing....guess I've got more waiting to do.
Shirley, please take very care for your Snowbank. When I knock at your door sometime...I would like to watch one.
WOW what a picture! do you put christmas lights on that grand tree Brugie? It was made for that. Sorry for your extended winter................
No, I'm waiting on Snowbank to get big enough that I can decorate it. That tree must be 50-60 ft. tall. A bit too much for me.
Shirley, sorry for you!
You will know: You have all my help for next brugseason.
Sorry for not mailing more today, you know I was busy today at work.
Soon I will reply all.
Sun to you!!!
Thanks Ludger and thanks for the "Sun to you", but it isn't working yet. LOL!!
How much are you suppose to get Shirley? They are saying 3" - 6" here but may have some more freezing rain before hand. Just what we need more ice hanging from the trees. Still have it from our last one a couple days ago.
Shirley, I gave a call to Monika tonight, she is real worried because the frost is much stronger than here.
Her GH heating and my GH heating are running...
I will try to post a little more sun to you, soon.Real sun.
I'm not sure anymore. They keep changing it. Jim said we are to get more after midnight. I'll just have to look in the morning. 70's in a week.
