Muscari armeniacum, that is. Does anyone want any? I can dig it up at an abandoned homestead if anyone is interested. It's everywhere, but in the process of going dormant. So, if you're interested, speak up. :) SASE is fine, so are trades. I am only interested in a few things right now, though, as I'm moving in a few months. Named hostas, named daylilies and yellow daff bulbs...all of which will be sent to my parent's house in IL.

The Daylilies will be ready in about 2 weeks. I have Hosta - Hosta undulata vr. Albo-marginata (photo below). Or I can SASE. Lemme know!!

Sue, You've got mail. :)
I don't think they grow down here in Tampa...does anyone know? I grew them in colorado and just loved them.
The Plant Database says that they are hardy to zone 8b.
I think zone 9 does not get enough cold hours for them.
I would love some, if you can. I am just starting anew garden, so hardly have anything of anything, but should have stuff for you by the time you have moved to the new place.

Love, Lavanda
So far, so good. :)
Just FYI.....Muscari Armeniacum
Lush, green foliage emerge from the ground in early spring, soon followed by the sturdy stems of the Grape Hyacinth. Above the foliage, the deep cobalt blue clusters of bell shaped flowers emit their sweet fragerance. The total height of Grape Hyacinth is approximately 6 inches. The foliage eventually dies back, but often makes a comeback in the fall. Hardy in zones 4-8, this plant can be grown in either full sun or part shade. Got this information from http://www.lewisgardens.com/grapehy.htm
Am I too late? The only named daylilies I ave are Stella o'Doros. If you would like some of those, I'd be glad to trade if not, will SASE be be okay? Pam
I'd love some too please
Ok, need to hold off until I can get what I have already promised dug up. It's insanely hot and humid here and I'm planning on digging later today.
Catlady and Babs, I'll email you after I dig today and I'll let you know what I have available.
Ok, no more left. I don't know why I continue to take projects like this on when I'm in the middle of a life crisis. I just can't stand to see good plants go to waste, I guess. :)
