Welcome cottosnag! You will like it here, there is a ton of expertise. BUT, you have to tell us where you live. Different zones mean different treatment.

Wow, you really are new to Daves. Just joined yesterday. Hope you are having a great time finding all the forums.

First of all, I'm not an expert, but I can grow brugs that flower well. So, here goes..........

Don't start your new brugs out in large containers. If they come in four inch pots, just gradually move them up. When mine are in Gallon size pots, I then move them to 7-10 gallon pots for the summer growing. Sometimes when I run out of room, I will move from a 4 inch to a large pot, especially if we are past the last frost date and everything is nice and warm. As baby brugs, they won't require a lot of water/fertilizer, but once planted in a large container and they start growing well, I don't think you will be able to overwater them. They like lots of fertilizer too. I use a water soluble and drench the pots at least twice a week. Remember also that using a soilless growing mix requires more watering and fertilizer. Also, with brugs, you need to use one that has pourous materials in it like perlite and bark. If you live in a really warm climate, morning sun would be best with some afternoon shade. However, sometimes we have little choice when it comes to light.

I hope I have covered everything. Please keep us updated on your new brugs. We all love to see pictures, especially of the end result.
