Neighbor stops and asks, what is that?

Oh what fun when people ask what you are growing. She remembers the brugs from last year and is curious. Yes, another addict.

Really great looking tree/bush.....but I'll bet it isn't hardy in Iowa. Can't handle another houseplant. Hope you are doing well Glory. I've thought about you today and what you are going through.

It will probably come back if it was established. I thought mine were dead (extremely cold for us this yesr) but they have shoots growing back now.
Glory...
Hope all went well, let us know as soon as you can.

I have a Cry Baby bush that I have been growing for at least 15 years-it dies back in winter & comes back when the weather warms up.I live in zone 7b.

There is one of these cry baby trees near me, used to think about asking them for seeds or cuttings.
Now, this is no exaggeration..... they cut it back with a chain saw!!!! the trunk is huge. it's blooming now. and the funny thing, is their back yard is one of those that is filled with....stuff.... not a lot of other plants. it sure is a beauty.

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

This is so pretty. I had never heard of it before and I want to thank Gloria for posting a picture of it. Arlene, you need to get your clippers and ask about cuttings. Hopefully, it will root from cuttings.

Hey guys, I thought it looked familiar! I have one in my neighborhood........
http://davesgarden.com/t/359354/

and Weeds, I had an unknown neighbor stop on Tuesday night as I was weeding the front border, LOL-at was about 8! And she was going on about a rose bush I have by the road that finished its first flush a few weeks ago. I got up and asked what she thought of my CG in full glory as we walked over to it. She said she had been looking at it the other night on her walk. I told her I had some rooted in gallon cans if she wanted one. I was gushing over my tree so much I did not notice she wasn't! LOL! She said no thanks...............
